TESCO ULSTER JUNIOR OPEN 2009

Its back!! The biggest and best junior tournament that you’re ever going to play in! Most of the changes that we made last year will be kept this year - including starting on Saturday which means that the tournament will run from Saturday 25th July until Saturday 1st August 2009.
Some of the changes that we made last year which will still be the case this year include:
- All doubles events will be the best of 3 sets with the 3rd set being a champions tie-break (up to 10 points) until the finals. The finals will be a normal 3 set match.
- Play will start from 8.00am if necessary
- As mentioned above the tournament will start on Saturday (25th July) rather than Sunday giving an extra days play
- If you are entering more than 1 event then you must be available to play during the first weekend (unless you are seeded in each event)
- For the events with more than 32 players you will be required to play on at least either the first Saturday or the first Sunday and you may be required to play on both.
- Warm ups will be strictly limited to 5 minutes and this will be monitored by the referees
